Incorrect SS Numbers entered. Any return that has the wrong Primary Social Security Number in the return must be corrected at the office it was started at. It is not ok to send a file over to the main office and ask them to fix the Social Security Number on the Return. It must be fixed at the office preferably when the client is there. We are wasting our customers time when it is error that needs to be fixed immediately and they have to come back and sign.
Same thing goes for First and Last names; They must be corrected and fixed before being sent to the main office or it will be sent back to the originating office to be fixed and Signed. AGAIN WE ARE WASTING CUSTOMERS TIMES AND DELAYING THIER REFUNDS. FIX THE PROBLEMS WHILE THEY ARE THERE THE FIRST TIME.
If the customer has 2 last names. Look at their Social Security card and Enter in EXACTLY HOW IT LOOKS ON THE SOCIAL SECURITY CARD. Many people just add a last name to their original last name. Stick to what's on the SS Card or Original Last name if that's the case.
Dependent Names - Look at the Social Security Cards and Birth Certificates from the clients. MAKE SURE THEY ARE ACCURATE
Yellow Main Information Sheets not being COMPLETELY FILLED OUT AND SIGNED. - THIS IS A REQUIREMENT FOR RETURNING AND NEW CUSTOMERS.
DUE DILLEGENCE WORKSHEET IN BLUE PACKET MUST BE FILLED OUT. FRONT AND BACK. THIS IS A MUST THERE IS ONLY 1 SECTION THAT SAYS USE IF THE DEPENDENTS BEING CLAIMED ARE NOT YOUR CHILDREN. THE REST MUST BE FILLED OUT TO MAKE SURE THEY MEET OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR EITC.
SEND A FRIEND LABELS. - MUST BE ON THE ENVELOPE OR WE WILL ASSUME NO SEND A FRIEND AND THEY WILL NOT RECIEVE THE $50 BECAUSE OF THE PREPARER NOT PUTTING THE STICKER ON THE ENVELOPE.
